Ballet BC returns to the stage in a collaboration with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra at the Polygon Gallery

THREE VANCOUVER COMPANIES across music, dance, and visual art have announced they’ll join forces to mark Ballet BC’s first performance since February.


On November 20 and 21 the ballet troupe will premiere a small socially distanced work called Re-Space, choreographed by its new French artistic director Medhi Walerski at the Polygon Gallery.

Vancouver Symphony Orchestra principal cellist Henry Shapard, 21, will be on hand to accompany, performing a new piece by Belgian composer Adrien Cronet. This marks Cronet’s First collaboration with Ballet BC; it’s his fourth with Walerski.

The limited number of tickets will be allotted by a lottery system open till November 4 at 5 pm. For more information and to enter the ticket lottery, visit thepolygon.ca/.
